Jay will hold official talks with his Bangladesh counterpart Foreign Secretary Shamser Mobin Chowdhury to review the entire gamut of bilateral relations and ways to further boost cooperation between the two countries. The talks will also focus on developments at regional and international arena.

A foreign ministry release said Jay will be accompanied by his wife Lady Jay and Head of the South Asia Department at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office Stephen Smith.

Britain is the fifth largest bilateral development partner of Bangladesh and the third largest destination for export.
