Workshop on Digital Photography

Photography like other mediums witnesses the triumph of digital over analogue technology. Nowadays people rarely use the age-old box cameras or pinhole cameras and take snaps for hours.

Instant feedback is one of Digital Photography's most valuable practical features. The emergence of this technology makes for greater creativity.

To popularise the medium, Prism and Dhaka Alokchitra Shobha are set to organise a workshop on Digital Photography. Rafiqul Islam, a specialist and writer on photography, will conduct the 2-day workshop (October 06-08) at the office of Dhaka Alokchitra Shobha (62, Science Laboratory Road).

The workshop will include discussions and exhibitions on the basics of digital image and imaging, digital image editing, standardisation of digital image, different types of digital cameras and their uses, and many other related issues.

Interested camera wielders should go through the registration by October 05.
