Trader rescued

Police rescued an abducted person after a gunfight with the abductors at Damosh village in Alamdanga upazila in Chuadanga district on Wednesday night.Police also arrested three bullet-hit abductors and recovered four firearms. Grocer Moula Box, 30, son of Lalchan Box of Shishirdari village, was abducted on Sunday for Tk 4 lakh ransom. Acting on a tip, off, police raided the house of one Mubas Ali and rescued Moula after an hour-long gunfight. The injured and arrested abductors are Ainal, 35, Thandu, 28 and Khoda Box, 36. Some others in the gang escaped during the raid, police said.
