Md Bazlur Rahman, a freedom fighter and deputy secretary of the Jatiya Sangsad secretariat, died at a Guwahati clinic in the Indian state of Assam on Thursday at the age of 55.He is survived by his wife, one son and one daughter. His body will be flown in to Dhaka today. He will be buried at his family graveyard in Tangail. Speaker Jamir Uddin Sircar, who is now in Canada on an official visit, expressed deep shock at the death of Bazlur Rahman.
