Police arrested some 1,119 people on various charges from different parts of the country in the last 24 hours ending at 6.00am yesterday.During the period, the law enforcers recovered 16 firearms, three other weapons and 13 bullets and filed six cases against 15 people under the Arms Act, says a police headquarters press release.
