OneTel gets licence to operate fixed line phones
OneTel Communications Limited has got licence as a private fixed line telephone operator.Syed Marghub Murshed, chairman of Bangladesh Telecom-munication Regulatory Commission (BTRC), handed over the licence to the officials of OneTel in Dhaka recently. Chairman of OneTel GM Siraj, MP, Directors Abdul Matlub Ahmad and KM Azad, Managing Director Asif Rabbani, other high officials of BTRC and OneTel were present. Under the licence, OneTel will provide fixed line telephone services in 16 northwestern districts of the country.
