Asian Youth H'ball U-21s go to India today


A 22-member Bangladesh under-21 handball team is scheduled to leave for India this morning to take part in the ninth Asian Youth Handball Championship.

Twelve teams are taking part in the competition in two groups, to be held from September 8 to 17 in the South Indian city of Hyderabad.

The Indian Handball Federation is organising the meet under the auspices of Asian Handball Federation.

Group B comprises Bangladesh, Kuwait, Japan, Chinese Taipei, Oman and hosts India, while Group A consists of Qatar, Iran, United Arab Emirates, China, Korea and Uzbekistan.
