Tk 63,000 fake notes seized:One arrested

One person was arrested and fake currency notes amounting to Tk 63,000 were recovered from him at Mahiskundi bus stand in Daulatpur upazila on Tuesday.The arrested person is Ekram Hossain, 26, son of Mohabbat Hossain of Charaikuri village in Daulatpur upazila. Bangladesh Rifles (BDR) recovered the notes while those were being smuggled into the country from India. Ekram told BDR he was going to Pabna to hand over the fake notes to a person there. The smuggler was handed over to police.
