Bangladesh's 5-wicket win


Bangladesh beat Scotland by five wickets in their first practice match against the ICC Associate members at Edinburgh yesterday.

Chasing 142 for a win, the Tigers reached home in the 32nd over with five wickets to spare.

Earlier medium pacer Khaled Mahmud captured three wickets as Bangla-desh bowled out Scotland for a meagre 141 in 47 overs at The Grange .

Tareq Aziz and Manzarul Islam chipped in with two wickets each while Mohammad Rafique took one wicket after the Tigers elected to field in the first of two matches .

Bangladesh, who beat Ireland in both their practice matches for this month's ICC Champions Trophy, will also play warm-up matches against the USA and Yorkshire United Eleven in England.
