Police arrested some 1,288 people, including one listed criminal, on various charges during their countrywide drive in the last 24 hours ending at 6.00am yesterday.During the period, the law enforcers recovered six firearms, one other weapons and 31 bullets and filed eight cases against 14 people under the Arms Act, says a police headquarters press release.
