Postal ballot for Netrakona-2 by-polls voters

Civil servants, their spouses and detained ones in jails, unable to vote in persons, will be allowed to cast their votes through postal ballots in the upcoming Netrakona-2 constituency's by-polls scheduled for October 9.The intending voters have to apply to the Returning Officer (RO) for ballot papers within 15 days of the announcement of the election schedule, an Election Commission (EC) press release said yesterday. EC has announced on August 28 the schedule for the Netrakona-2 by-election and appointed the deputy commissioner of Netrakona as the RO for holding the election.
