Ripon became champion in the unseeded players' singles in the Second Global Insurance open table tennis competition, which began yesterday at the Woodenfloor Gymnasium.He beat Parag 11-7, 12-10, 10-22, 15-13 in the final. On the opening day, 42 boys' singles, eight women's singles, six men's singles, eight boys' team, five women's team and eight men's team matches were held.
