New bed at BIRDEM

A bed in the name of Mohammad Khalilur Rahman has been introduced at BIRDEM Hospital in the city.The bed will be used by poor diabetic and cardiac patients free of cost. Abida Khalil, wife of late Mohammad Khalilur Rahman, donated an amount of Tk 5 lakh to Diabetic Association of Bangladesh on Sunday. She handed over a check for the amount to association General Secretary Prof AK Azad Khan. BIRDEM Director General Sardar Amir Ali was present on the occasion.
