Donation to AL relief fund

A private TV channel and a business association yesterday donated Tk 10 lakh to the Awami League Relief Fund to carry out the party's relief activities among the flood victims.Faridur Reza Sagar and Shayek Siraj of Channel-I handed over a cheque for Tk 5 lakh to Awami League President Sheikh Hasina at Sudha Shadhan residence yesterday afternoon. Bangladesh Garments Manufacturer and Exporter Association (BGMEA) led by its President Anisul Huq, also donated a cheque for Tk 5 lakh. Hasina told the Channel-I and BGMEA authorities that the donations would help the party to carry on relief operation among the flood victims.
