Police arrested some 1,161 people on various charges during their countrywide drive in last 24 hours ending at 6.00am yesterday.During the period, the law enforcers recovered 16 firearms, four other weapons and 44 bullets and filed 10 cases against 15 people under the Arms Act, said a handout.
