BAF outplay Comilla

Omar Ali scored five goals including a hattrick as Bangladesh Air Force thrashed Comilla 7-1 in the ANAS Group National Hockey Cham-pionship at the Maulana Bhasani Hockey Stadium yesterday.The winners led the first half 3-0. Maksudur Rahman joined the goal rush with two goals while Shaheenur Islam scored the lone goal for the losers. Faridpur also went on a goal feast in the day's second match when they outplayed Dinajpur 12-2 at the same venue. Faridpur led 4-1 at the breather. In the other matches, Bangla-desh Navy blanked Jessore 2-0 and Magura defeated Jhenidah 4-2.
