Commissioner demands action against attackers

A ward commissioner of Dhaka City Corporation (DCC) yesterday demanded punishment to those who attacked him during the distribution of relief materials among flood-affected people. Mir Ashraf Ali Azam, commissioner of ward No. 62, said that a gang of about 20 hoodlums beat him up and snatched Tk 10,000 when he was distributing relief at Palashi Friday.
