Sohel, a youth of the neighbourhood, along with his sister called Rupashi Chowdhury, 13, daughter of Rabindra Shil, out of her school and took her to an unknown place at around 11:00am, police said. She is a student of class nine at Gomdandi Pilot High School.

Rupashi's brother Rinku Shil filed a case under Women and Children Repression Prevention Act with Boalkhali Police Station.

Police could not rescue the girl until yesterday evening.
