Klinsmann's All-star XI

Former German international striker Jurgen Klinsmann on Saturday selected his all-star Euro 2004 eleven, plumping for three Portugal stars and two Greeks among those who will star in Sunday's final.

Luis Figo, Cristiano Ronaldo and Ricardo Carvalho got Klinsmann's vote from the host nation, while Giorkas Seitaridis and Theodoros Zagorakis also won inclusion for their sterling showings with the Greeks.

Edwin van der Sar of the Netherlands was Klinsmann's choice as goalkeeper with a backline of Seitaridis and Ashley Cole of England as well as Carvalho and Dutch centre back Jaap Stam.

In midfield, Figo and Ronaldo, Zagorakis and Czech genius Pavel Nedved all won Klinsmann's vote for their "significant contributions" to their teams.

In attack England's young discovery Wayne Rooney of Everton and the Czech Republic's Milan Baros were chosen.

Baros is the tournament's top scorer with five goals while Rooney was on the scoresheet four times to spark talk of a move to Manchester United.
