President, PM greet Bush on 4th of July


President Iajuddin Ahmed and Prime Minister Khaleda Zia have felicitated US President George W. Bush on the occasion of his country's Independence Day, the 4th of July.

In his message, the president hoped that the existing friendly relations between the two countries would strengthen in the years to come.

In a separate message, Prime Minister Khaleda Zia said: "Bangladesh greatly values its relationship with the USA."

She reiterated the commitment to work with the US president to enhance "all-round cooperation" to mutual benefit.

The prime minister believes that the ties of friendship with the USA will grow in strength in future.
