Hi-tech park to be set up in Kaliakoir

Science and Information and Communication Technology Minister Abdul Moyeen Khan said a hi-tech park would be set up on 231 acres of land at Kaliakoir near the capital for expanding information and communication technology.He was speaking at a function to distribute prizes among IT quiz competition winners and citations among the meritorious students of University of Information Technology and Sciences (UITS) yesterday. Vice Chancellor of UITS Dr A Mazid Khan, president of Bangladesh Academy of Sciences Professor Dr M Shamsher Ali, among others, spoke on the occasion.
