Dhaka-Agartala flight

It is encouraging news that GMG Airlines has started its operation between Chittagong and Kolkata recently. There is also the opportunity that Sahara or Jet Airlines may start flying between Dhaka and Kolkata, provided both the countries agree to this arrangement.We propose that there could be a weekly flight between Dhaka and Agartala on an experimental basis having its connection to Guwahati, Shillong and Aijal. This initiative could be taken up by GMG or Biman. Initially, it may not appear to be viable but we are sure, this arrangement will be profitable in the long run. There could be a discussion on the feasibility study linking Dhaka-Agartala-Yangon also. It will not only help tourism but also open up economic opportunities to materialise our vision of looking east.
