Anyone having some idea about banking service knows that the ACR is the only factor upon which the promotion of the employees of a bank depends. An ACR is prepared and signed by the superior official on the basis of various factors. The management of the bank treats it as the criterion for promotion. But the ACR does not always take into account factors like education and honesty of the subordinate officers.The bank authorities should look into the matter.
