Mugged by child!

A couple of days back my rickshaw stopped at a crowded red signal. I spotted two children, one boy and the other a girl hawking handicraft products. From the boy (10-12 years old), I purchased some goods worth Tk 10. I brought out my purse and was counting the money, when the boy suddenly tried to snatch two ten taka notes and flee away, as the vehicle started moving. Luckily he did not succeed.

Was he just being naughty, or a mugger? The society has to answer for making him imitate the criminal styles of the adults.
