Acting on a tip-off, police arrested Salahuddin of Chandkhal village in Paikgachha upazila, Khulna from Bardal bazaar. After his confessional statement, police arrested Nainul Gazi from Bardal village.

Police also recovered 113 leaflets of outlawed Purba Banglar Communist Party (ML). They were wanted in connection with several cases. Later, they were handed over to Khulna police.
