Friends Club's relegation threat worsened after they drew 1-1 with Regency Sports Club in the CJKS-Elite Paint Premier Football League at the MA Aziz Stadium here yesterday.Friends now have two points from their seven matches compared to Regency's eight from the same number of outings. Meanwhile, title aspirants Abahani shrugged off frustration when they brushed aside last year's runners-up Agrabad Nowjoan 4-0 in Tuesday night's sixth round match. Tapu led Abahani's charges in the title race with two goals inside one minute halfway through the first half. Ujjal increased the margin in the 67th minute while his fellow national striker Farhad sealed the victory eight minutes from the final whistle. With four wins and two draws, Abahani pushed their collection to 14 points, four behind leaders Mohammedan Sporting Club, the holders who have won all their six games so far.
