The drowning of MV Lighting Sun on 23 May once again proved the unworthiness of lives in our country. Similar launch mishaps claimed a large number of lives last year, but nothing was done to punish the culprits.What can an innocent traveller do? Can he or she check the fitness of the launch before boarding? These are questions that the authorities concerned must answer.
