The day's programme will begin with hoisting of national and party flags at the party offices throughout the country in the morning.

Wreaths will be placed on the portrait of Bangabandhu at Bangabandhu Memorial Museum at 8am.

A discussion will be held at the Institution of Engineers', Bangladesh auditorium at 3.00pm. Renowned intellectuals and national leaders will address.

AL General Secretary Mohammad Abdul Jalil has called upon all like-minded people including the leaders and workers of the party and its front organisations to observe the day with due respect.
