Workshop on Gaurio Nritya
Nrityanchal, a promising dance organisation, is holding a workshop on Gauria Nritya at Shilpakala Academy. The 10-day long workshop, which began on May 28, is being steered by Dr Mohua Mukharjee, a famous dancer of Kolkata and an exponent of Gaurio Nritya. About 140 students from Dhaka and other places in the country are participating in this workshop.

The participants will perform dance sequences in Gauria style on June 7 and Tagore's Chitrangada on 8th at the auditorium of Shishu Academy.

' I find that the Bangladeshis are very hardworking and even the children have a good sense of dance,' exclaimed Dr. Mukharjee at the press conference organised by Nrityanchal on June 1.The director of the organisation Shibli Mohammed was also present at the occasion.
