Selff coming tomorrow

Australian coach Andrew Selff will arrive in Dhaka tomorrow to conduct a weeklong camp for young wicketkeepers of the country.

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has hired the specialist coach to improve the standard of young wicketkeepers. The board has already given it top priority as the country lacks quality wicketkeepers.

Nearly a dozen stumpers including the ones already in the High Performance Camp will take part in the camp.

Meanwhile, the BCB has announced a list of 18 yesterday to take part in the spin and wicketkeeping camp starting on Saturday at the Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protishthan (BKSP).

A pace bowling camp is due to start from June 12 at the same venue.

The players have been asked to report to BCB development coach Richard McInnes tomorrow evening at BKSP.

The selected players are, Mazhar Uddin, Birenda Nath Das, Sohrawardy Shuvo, Marshal Ayub, Hafizur Rahman, Sumon Kumar Shaha, Asiqul Islam, Abu Syed, Ziaur Rahman, AA Mhung, Saif Mahmood, Reazul Islam, Farhad Hossain, Tomizuddin Haider, Raisul Islam, Raihan Uddin Arafat, Shaqlain Shajib and Iqbal Hossain.
