Two outlaws lynched

Two armed cadres of the Janajuddho faction of outlawed Purba Banglar Communist Party (PBCP) were killed in mob beating near a orphanage at Malghar Union under Fakirhat upazila of Bagerhat district early yesterday.

They were identified as Hasibul Islam, 28, and Rakibul, 26.

According to police, five PBCP cadres went to Malghar at about 4:00am to realise tolls from some shrimp traders. Sensing the presence of the PBCP cadres, locals surrounded them and held the two, Hasib and Rakib, while the rest managed to flee.

They beat the two mercilessly, resulting in their death on the spot. Police recovered the bodies yesterday morning and sent them to Bagerhat Sadar Hospital for autopsy.
