Motorcycle garage owner shot dead

A motorcycle garage owner was shot dead by unidentified assailants in front of his house in the city's Khilgaon area on Tuesday night.The victim was identified as M Sabuj, 20, son of Abul Kashem of Kunjaban, Khilgaon. Police quoted family sources as saying a gang of four called Sabuj out of his residence at about 10:30pm and sprayed bullets on him. He sustained four bullets in the head, chest and abdomen. Sabuj was rushed to a nearby clinic and then shifted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where he died at about 12:30am. The reason behind the killing could not be known. A case was filed with local police station.
