June 02, 2004       Culture Music Srijon organises songs of yesteryears In continuation of their regular programme on the last Sundays of every month, cultural organisation Srijon arranged another show comprising songs of the yesteryears. The musical soiree was held at the Biswa Shahitya Kendra auditorium recently, says a press release. The melodious classic and folk songs were rendered by the promising singers like Fariha Rab, Nirma, Lipi, Kanchan Mustafa, Tapan Majumdar, Sanzida Shuma and others. At the beginning of the programme the audience paid rich tributes to the singer Anjuman Ara Begum, who passed away recently.
