Transport workers support June 5 hartal

Bangladesh Sarak Paribahan Sramik Union, an organisation of the transport workers, yesterday extended its support to June 5 countrywide hartal called by the main opposition Awami League.In a statement yesterday, union President Rafiq Ahmed and General Secretary Abdul Odud Nayan also demanded arrest of and punishment to the killers of AL lawmaker Ahsanullah Master. They also demanded arrest of Bangla Bhai, dreaded operation commander of Jagrata Muslim Janata Bangladesh, and those involved in the bomb attack at Hazrat Shahjalal shrine in Sylhet.
