Bus counter staff shot

Extortionists shot a bus counter employee at Shyamoli yesterday following his refusal to pay toll. Habib was sitting inside the counter of Mintu Enterprise at 27/1/B, Shyamoli at 11:45am when a gang of five to six extortionists belonging to local Nabi group went there and shot Habib in the right leg. He was admitted to Orthopaedic Hospital. Employees of Dhaka-Chapainawabganj bus service said the operatives of Nabi group are engaged in toll collection in the area for long.
