CMC teacher manhandled

Ruling party-backed Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal cadres and internee students manhandled a teacher of forensic department of Chittagong Medical College (CMC) yesterday. They also locked the office of the principal. Dr Pradip Kumar Chowdhury came under attack at his college chamber for taking autopsy classes of the MBBS students of University of Science and Technology Chittagong (USTC), sources said. Earlier the JCD cadres threatened him and other teachers of the department not to take their class. Protesting the attack, all teachers and staffs of the department stopped their duties and closed down the department for indefinite period.
