BJP silent on CMP
The Statesman/ ANN, New Delhi
The BJP's well known faces of economic reform Yashwant Sinha, Jaswant Singh and the two Aruns (Jaitley and Shourie) have been strangely silent about the common minimum programme of the UPA government, much to the astonishment of several party leaders. Why are they not coming out in defence of the market and "ripping apart the anti-reforms points" in the Left-backed CMP is what many BJP leaders are asking. If the NDA's model of growth espoused by these leaders was correct they should have come out in its defence, a senior BJP leader said.
