Six JCD activists hurt in factional clash at JU

Six activists of Jahangirnagar University (JU) Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) were injured in a factional clash over establishment of supremacy in Shahid Salam Barkat Hall on Saturday.The clash ensued when 25 JCD general secretary loyalists equipped with hockey stick and lethal weapons swooped on the supporters of their president. Assistant general secretary Rumi with support from Imran, Sohel and some outsiders led the attack. Closing the hall main gate at 5:30 pm, they beat up five rivals Zicko, Azmir, Titu, Mostafiz and Niloy.
