To this effect, an agreement was signed between the two organisations, says a press release.

Intekhab Mahmud, head of marketing of CityCell, and Erfanuddin Ahmed, senior executive vice-president of Bank Asia, signed the agreement on behalf of their organisations.

Customers of the bank can get the service by contacting their nearest branch of the bank.

The service will also enable the customers to get their latest balance including balance currently under clearance, last transaction information and receive the update information via return SMS.

Moreover, alert messages on low account balance, promotional messages and messages on special occasions will also be sent to the customers.
