My attention was drawn to the report "HC fines Tk 5,000 for harming student" (DS: April 27, page 12). How was it possible for the RU authorities to neglect the appeal of the brilliant student named Abdul Mannan Bhuiyan( LLB Hons) ? It is really unimaginable for those who have a little bit of conscience. I urge the RU authorities to form a probe committee to find out the culprits who were involved in it.
