Deals signed for Tk 278cr German grant

Germany will provide a grant of 40.6 million euro equivalent to Tk 278 crore for development of energy and infrastructure under two agreements signed yesterday. German Ambassador Dietrich Andrew and Economic Relation Division Secretary Mirza Tasadduq Hussain Beg signed the agreements. Germany has so far provided 2.25 billion euro in different projects and development programmes aiming at reducing poverty, said a press release.
