Roundtable on dowry

A roundtable meeting titled 'Social Movement against Dowry' was held here on Thursday aiming at creating mass awareness against dowry.Islamic Foundation organised the meeting at its auditorium here. Islamic Foundation deputy director (DD) Md Jakir Hossain, presided over the meeting and principal Ynus Sharif of Patuakhali Government College was the chief guest. Political leader Fakhruddin Khan, Press Club president Golam Kibria and Habibur Rahman, Lecturer of the Government College addressed the meeting.
