Financial help for disabled

An amount of 7.60 lakh taka was distributed as financial help among 43 disabled persons and 36 voluntary organisations here.Social Welfare Minister Ali Ahsan Mohammad Mujahid distributed the money at a meting held at the Sadar upazila auditorium on Friday. Patuakhali deputy commissioner (DC) Pranta Bhushan Barua was in the chair while Commerce Minister Altaf Hossain Chowdhury was the special guest. Earlier, the social welfare minister visited the government orphanage here.
