Over 1,700 held, 7 firearms recovered

Police arrested 1,709 people, including five listed criminals, during their countrywide drive in the last 24 hours ending at 6.00am yesterday.They also recovered seven firearms and four rounds of bullet. Cases were filed against two people under the Arms Act.
