The victims are Dilip Kumar Sharma, 40, and M Gulzar Hossain,25 of Kathuli village in Sadar upazila and Babu, 30, of Kuniachandpur village in Damurhuda upazila.

Police said the outlaws entered Kathuli village at about 3:00am and dragged out Dilip and Gulzar of their houses. They took the two to nearby Gaznabi canal and slit their throats.

In Damurhuda, armed cadres of an underground outfit called Babu out of his house at village Kuniachandpur at around 3:30am and slaughtered him in front of his house.

Police sent the bodies to hospital morgue for autopsy.
