April 02, 2004       Letters to Editor Electronic signboards Syed Towhid Hossain, Lalmatia, Dhaka Summer has returned so has the curse named blackouts .When the common people are suffering for power failures, we see flashy electronic signboards here and there. These electronic signboards needs a huge amount of electricity to run. So the government should impose a ban , or at least some restriction , on these electronic signboards and save electricity.
