The inter-university hockey competition began at central playground of Chittagong University on Wednesday.The hosts got off to flying start defeating Rajshahi University 3-0 in the opening match. Sumon, Arman and Chandak Barua scored one goal each for the winners. CU Vice Chancellor Professor AJM Nuruddin Chowdhury inaugurated the competition at 3pm. Pro VC- Professor Dr. M Shamsuddin was also present. Dhaka University is also taking part in the meet.
