Grand Master Ziaur Rahman and International Master Enamul Hossain Rajib were jointly leading the table with four points each after the fifth round of the Singer 30th National Chess Championship at the conference room of the National Sports Council yesterday .Zia drew with IM Abdullah Al Rakib and Rajib beat Saifuddin Lavlu. GM Niaz Murshed and IM Reefat-bin-Sattar are jointly in second position with 3.5 points each. Rakib, Shawkat Hossain Pollab and Mohammad Javed are sharing third position with three points each. In the fifth round Mehdi Hasan Parag stunned Niaz, Reefat beat Abdul Maleq, FM Sheikh Nasir Ahmed drew with Shawkat Hossain Pollab, Mohammad Javed drew with Aminul Islam Polash and Debaraj Chatterjee drew with Monjur Alam.
