Bangladesh Army handed Bangladesh Rifles a 93-65 defeat in the Maple Leaf Independence Day basketball competition at the Dhanmondi Basketball Gymna-sium yesterday.The winners led the first half 37-30. Tuzammel scored highest 24 and Kamrul caged 23 for the winners while Monjeel fought a lone battle for Rifles with 29 points.
