Cultural group Panchoshor celebrated the spring recently at a musical soiree at the Goethe Institut in Dhanmondi. Songs from various genres of Bangla music including Rabindra Sangeet, Nazrul Sangeet, songs of Atul Prasad, DL Roy and others kept the audience amazed for a couple of hours.Panchoshor performers included Sumon Chowdhury, Bulbul Islam, Nasima Shaheen, Sumon Majumder, Mamun Jahid Khan and Sharmin Shathi Islam. The programme started with Sumon Majumder presenting the famous Rabindra Sangeet Ektuku chhowan laagey. Among others Bulbul Islam rendered Bhoriya poran shunitechhi gaan, Sharmin Shathi sang Tumi shunite cheyona amar moner kotha.
